We are currently seeking applicants to fill a quality maintenance technician role located in New England. The prospective employee would be responsible for preforming diagnostic, preventative and repair services within McDonald’s locations on a prescheduled basis. The primary area of work is generally defined as beverage service. We primarily service soft drink, coffee, tea and water filtration systems. The work done is predefined and follows guidelines determined by the customer. Numerous checks, adjustments and repairs are completed by the technician to ensure the customer is selling the highest quality drinks possible and reducing down time due to equipment failure.
- A ten to twelve week training program is provided to ensure competency in call protocol and execution. Candidates with prior training in beverage systems may proceed at an accelerated rate. Mechanically inclined people can be very successful without prior experience
Typical work execution/responsibility
- Applicant would have primary responsibility for a geographic area that would require overnight travel approximately 15-20% of the time. Typical work week would be to preform 10 to 11 calls per week with most calls averaging 4 hours in duration. Technician would follow existing defined services, make repairs/adjustments and report via provided tablet/software.
Competitive salary plus benefits after training completion. Eligible to participate in performance bonus program after 1 year of service.
We are looking for a dedicated, self-starter that can work on their own with limited management. We want every employee to take pride of ownership for their work and relationships with the customers. If you think you have the skillset and temperament to identify and solve mechanical problems while working in a sometimes hectic environment this position might just be for you. Applicants must have a clean drivers license and be able to pass a DOT physical.
